      Great commmentary as usual Roger but congress as so far removed from reality that they may not be able to pull this off.       Restricting So-Called Speculation Is a Fool's Game
      Dont blame the speculators as they are a small part of the market but important part of liquidity. The US has been over consuming for years and now must change their ways.       I think Trichet is hopeless and misguided and have been blogging about this for ages. Western Europe is threatened in the long term by many other factors and should lower rates.
